The Primary school building at Mayford houses fourteen class rooms for Year R- Year 6.  Pupils are provided with a variety of spaces to support their learning and emotional wellbeing including;

• Two soft play spaces
• Sensory circuits room
• Sensory room
• PE hall
• Swimming pool
• Trim trail and playgrounds
• Food technology room
• DT room
• Art room
• Library
• Wellbeing pods

In addition, we have a dining room, a staff room and a number of meeting rooms and offices.

All the classes in the school have their own outdoor space known as the ‘garden’ for outdoor learning opportunities. They also have an internal room, within their classroom, which teachers can then plan the use of.

The swimming pool is 4m x 4m and approximately 1 metre deep, so is ideal for infant children learning to swim. 

Our satellite school located in Ripley houses 6 classrooms for Year R- Year 2. The school has extensive grounds with play equipment. Pupils have regular access to the Mayford site therapeutic rooms as well as the following spaces at the Ripley site;

• Sensory circuit room
• PE Hall
• Library
• Trim trail and playgrounds

The Ripley classrooms also have their own outdoor space known as the ‘garden’ for outdoor learning opportunities. They also have an additional room near to their classroom which teachers can then plan the use of.

The Secondary & FE school building opened in October 2023. It has 16 classrooms for pupils in KS3, KS4 and KS5. Pupils have access to the following additional spaces;

• Sensory circuits space
• Sensory swing
• MUGA and playgrounds
• Gym
• Food technology room
• Catering kitchen
• Performing arts studio
• Life skills room
• FE common room
• Forest school area
• Horticulture & animal care
• Bike track

The building also provides a dining room, a staff room and a number of meeting rooms and offices.

Similar to the Primary classrooms, the Secondary & FE classes have their own outdoor space and an internal room.
